On December 2, 2018 our family lost its beloved patriarch at the age of 97 after he suffered a stroke in early October. He confronted this setback as he did all challenges in his life- with courage and resolve to beat the after effects, only to succumb to additional health complications. Born January 6, 1921, in Swampscott, MA, he was the son of Dominic Pescuma and Mary Natale Pescuma. He was predeceased by both parents and his sisters Elizabeth Webster of Beverly and Florence DiLorenzo of Southbridge. Gerry began his career as a machinist and gear maker at General Electric in Lynn but was quickly lured over to the United Shoe in Beverly, where he met his future wife Lucy DiVincenzo of Beverly.
