Gerald Eugene McDaniel, 56 of Newburg, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013 at his residence with family by his side. He was born February 23, 1956 in Grafton, son of Gerald Gay McDaniel, Newburg, and the late Ella Mae Mitter McDaniel McKendrick. Eugene had worked for the family sawmill for many years. He loved fishing, hunting, going to races, collecting model cars and coins. Eugene is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Freda G Piggott McDaniel; five children, Jason Morris, MD, Tracy Collins, Morgantown, Robbie Martin, Morgantown, Stephen Sam Martin, Newburg, Tia D McDaniel, Newburg; four grandchildren, Lexis, Lincoln, Jason Jr.
