Gerald E. Longenbaugh, 84, of Pendleton, passed away peacefully at his residence with his family by his side on April 27, 2021. He was born on June 6, 1936, in Oblong, Illinois, and resided most of his life in Pendleton.

Gerry graduated from Indiana Central University. He served his country in the United States Army Reserves. He was the sales manager for WHBU, WXXP, and WQME Radio Stations in Anderson.

Gerry also worked for the Madison County Chamber of Commerce. He was a choir director for many years and was a member of Grandview Church in Pendleton.

Gerry loved gardening, fishing, and camping.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Marie Longenbaugh; children, Tim (Angie) Longenbaugh, Jon (Christine) Longenbaugh, Robin (Todd) Borders, Steven (Heather) Longenbaugh, Tammy (Steve) Winchester, Timothy (Angie) Fitch, Heather (Todd) Hertenstein, and Courtney (Stephen) Keffer; 20 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Also, surviving is his sister, Elaine (David) Catlin; brother, Lynn Longenbaugh; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vern and Elsie Longenbaugh.
