Gerald Lewis DeClercq, age 85, of Davenport, FL formerly of Tecumseh, passed away April 21, 2017. Gerald was born July 30, 1931 in Blissfield, MI the son of Joseph and Esther (VanNest) DeClercq. He was a beloved brother, father, and grandfather. Gerald was a Tank Commander in the Korean War where his quick thinking saved the lives of everyone on his team. He loved fishing, hunting, boating and playing cards. Gerald is survived by his children, Julie DeClercq, Lori Sieting and Mike DeClercq and sister, Jeannette Dunbar. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy DeClercq; parents; brother, Harold DeClercq and sister, Shirley Lawson. He will be sorely missed.
