He is survived by his wife Betty McElroy; sons, Jerry (Valarie) McElroy, Melvin (JoAnne) McElroy, Terry McElroy, and David McElroy; Daughters, Jeanie (Gregory) Martin, Debbie (Don) Martin, and Martha (Billy) Rouse. One brother, Bill McElroy. Three Sisters Benadene Peters, Barbara Ann (Gene) Wersig, and Kathy (Danny) Caruthers. He is also survived by 13 grand-children 17 great grand-children and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
