He is survived by his son John (Mindy) Shulz and daughter, Amanda Shulz (Marcos); 4 grandchildren, James, Josiah, Isaac, Isis and one on the way; he is also survived by 3 brothers, Jeff (Lynn), Pete (Heide) and Dave (Carla). He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Shannon and brother, John Shulz.
