RichGerald Haines Rich, “Jerry”, “Big Jer”, age 61, of Norwood PA, formerly of Darby PA, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020. Born in Philadelphia PA to the late Hugh B. Rich III and the late Fay H. (nee Jones) Rich.Survived by his adoring wife Donna (nee Plunkett) Rich, and his children Gerald (Jillian) Rich Jr., Amanda Rich, and his grand-daughters, Alina and Nadia Nistor, and Hope Rich due to arrive in October. Loving brother to Hugh B. (Dorothy) Rich IV, Margaret (Emery) VonRoder, Kathleen (the late Robert) Apple, David Rich, Joseph (Linda) Rich, Jon (Tina) Rich, Johannah (John) Bennett, Annette (William) Ryan, Robert (Deborah) Rich, Thomas (Suzanne) Rich. Uncle to 26 nieces and nephews and 25 great-nieces and nephews.Jerry attended Darby High School and was retired from his family business, Rich Brothers Demolition. He was a member of the Lansdowne Lodge No. 711 of the Free and Accepted Masons. Jerry enjoyed gardening, wood working, boating, fishing, frequent trips to the casino, and spending time with his friends, but most of all he loved his grandbabies.
