Mr. Beaty died Monday, February 28, 2011 in Killeen. Mr. Beaty was born October 7, 1943 in Bay City, Texas the son of James Earl and Lilly Bell Beaty. He was a veteran of the United States air Force. He worked for Xerox. He also worked for Central Texas College as an air craft mechanic for the aircraft program.
He was a member of the Fault Line Flying Club. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joy Ann Beaty in 1983. Survivors include son, Travis Beaty of Nolanville, two daughters Teresa Beaty-Sykes of North Richland Hills and Jerri Beaty-Moore of Austin, ex-wife Doris Beaty of Belton, mother Lilly Bell Pearce of Francitas and brother Ronald Earl Beaty of Francitas; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
