Gerald A. Vonada, 74, of 206 Nisbet Terrace, Nisbet, died Saturday, July 4, 2009 at Williamsport Hospital.
Gerald and his wife, the former Doris J. Fry, celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary this past November.
Gerald was an Army veteran, a supporter of the Nisbet United Methodist Church and a member of VFW Post 7863.
Born October 30, 1934 in Williamsport, he was the son of Samuel A. and Thelma I. Vaughn Vonada.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Gregory A. of Nisbet; a daughter, Karen A. (Richard) Forsburg of New York State; a step-son, Michael R. English, a brother, Ronald L. of Tempe, AZ; grandchildren, Joshua Vonada, Jessica and Edward Ravert, 4 step grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Gerald was predeceased by a brother, Richard C. Vonada.
