He was employed with the Sun Oil Company, Production Unit, for 42 years, working almost equal time in the Crossville, Illinois and Gladwin, Michigan areas before retiring. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Geneva Baker; his second wife, Henrietta Voight; his third wife, Carol Hawk; a son, Ronald, Grayville, IL; and a brother, Earl Perkins, Oblong, IL.
He is survived by 3 sons, Robert Ann Perkins, Portage, MI; Roger Rebecca, Princeton, IL; and Michael Debi Perkins, Gladwin, MI; 4 grandchildren, Todd Perkins, Portage; Robert P. Kelle Perkins, Madison Heights, MI; Lindsay Kannan Ramanathan, Hutchinson, MN; Lance Perkins, Gladwin, MI; four great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Alicia, Janie and Jazmine; a brother, Kleon Perkins, Oblong, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
