Gerald “Pappy” A. Logan, Sr., age 70 of Toms River, NJ died January 20th, 2014 at the Arbors Care Center, Manchester Twp. Gerald was born and raised in Orange, NJ to John and Gertrude Logan. He lived in Keansburg and Philadelphia before moving to Toms River in 1970. Gerald served in the United States Army and transferred to the Navy from 1963 to 1965 attaining the rank of General.
Gerald went on to own and operate Termicon Pest Control in Toms River for over 50 years. He was a member of the East Dover Baptist Church in Toms River. Gerald was a 39 year East Dover Firefighter, a NJ State Exempt Fireman and Captain of the District 1 Dover Fire Police. He will be dearly missed. Gerald is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Antonietta (Guglietti) Logan, his son, Gerald A. Logan, Jr. and his wife Dawn of Toms River, his step children, Michael Pascale of Toms River, Anthony Pascale of Maple Shade and Amy Cuccinella and her husband Ron of Toms River, grandchildren, Nicholas, Matthew, Amanda, Mia and Fiona.
Gerald is also survived by his brother, Robert Logan and his wife Marjorie of Longmont, CO, his sister, Judi Kiser and her husband Doug of Hope Mills, NC and many nieces and nephews.
