Georgia Street Lyons, 91, Anderson, died August 6, 2003 at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born July 7, 1912 in Summitville, Indiana, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. She was a lifelong Anderson resident. She retired in 1971 from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 35 years of service. She was a 1930 graduate of Summitville High School and nurses training from 1930-1933.
She was a very dedicated member of the Historical Society for Madison County Cemetery Committee.
She is survived by her Sister: Evelyn Maynard. Three Nephews: Steve & wife Deb Street of Indianapolis. Randy & wife Diane Street of Summitville. Dave & wife Debra Street of Elwood. Several Great Nieces & Great Nephews. Special Friends & Caretakers: Susan & Steven Harvey and children, Cody, Tisha and Kristen. Extended Family: Sonja ”Sloan” Jones, Heather & Roger Jones and Florence Jones. Many special friends.
She was preceded by her Husband: Wilbur J. Lyons on April 29, 1989. Stepson: Randy Lyons. Parents: Oscar & Sara James Street. Two Brothers: Walter Street and Glen Street. One Sister: Eula Street.
