Upland: Georgia N. (Hamilton) Wilson, 89, passed away at 6:56 pm Sunday evening, February 20, 2011. Born in Logan, West Virginia on August 12, 1921, Georgia grew up in Farmers, KY, the daughter of Alex and Gertrude (Swim) Hamilton. Georgia was a home maker and enjoyed gardening, cooking for her kids, and going to church. She loved being with her children and grand-kids.
Survivors include four children, Larry Flannery, Upland, Wayne Flannery, Swayzee, Connie (Lee) Sharp, Hartford City, and Alane (Jim) Moughan, Lexington, KY; a brothers, Dennis Hamilton, Ocala, FL; two sisters, Lucille (George) Calvert, Ashland, KY, and Catherine Alley, Sardinia, OH; 13 beloved grandchildren, Dean, Diane, Dennis, Deneen, Kelli, Tony, Julie, Ryan, Jessica, Jamie, Jason, Nathan, and Matt; 13 precious great grandchildren; many much loved nieces and nephews and her dear friend Doris Goodman.
Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, Albert A. Wilson, son Forest L. Flannery, two brothers, Elwood Hamilton and James “Woody” Hamilton, two sisters, Mayma Whittingham and Chiles Roush.
