Georgia M. Personett, 95, a resident of Blair Ridge, Peru, passed away at 7:25 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009, at Marion General Hospital, Marion. She was born in Miami County on Nov. 26, 1914, the daughter of William H. and Ruth A. Murphy Brewer. On Nov. 28, 1935, she was married to Melvin R. Personett, and he died March 5, 1971.
Mrs. Personett graduated from Peru High School in 1932. She was a homemaker and worked at J.C. Penney in Peru for 18 years.
Survivors include three daughters, Norma E.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Flavius J. Brewer; two sisters, Louise Fouts and Helen Payne; and one great-grandson Maxwell Jay Fisher.
