Georgia M. Clayton Dumm, 81, Anderson, passed away October 12, 2009 at St. Vincent Hospice, Indianapolis Indiana after an extended illness. She was born March 26, 1928 in Mecca, Indiana, and resided in Anderson since 1953.
Georgia was a graduate of Mecca High School. She owned several businesses in Anderson including a bakery, restaurant and ice cream store.
She is survived by her daughters, Charlotte Hinson Elgin of Anderson and Jenny Benfield Don of Anderson; sister, Joan Smith Rex of Anderson; brothers, Allen Fellows Joyce of Anderson and John Clayton of Pendleton; grandchildren, Tony Allender and Melissa Britton; great grandchildren, Rodney Conner, Jacob Odle, Lindsey Allender and Ashley Allender; two great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Clayton and Irene Wittenmeyer Clayton and sister, Normagene Sebring.
