Georgia Ellen Oldaker Sandy, 93 of Nutter Fort passed away on Thursday August 8, 2019 at her residence with family by her side. She was born November 4, 1925 in Clarksburg, daughter of the late Charles Willard and Nettie Ellen Cunningham Shelhammer.

Georgia worked for over forty years at several local dry cleaners and retired from Rady & Deem in 2002. She collected angels and enjoyed cooking. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Nutter Fort. Her life was her family, her church and reading her bible. She enjoyed the time she spent with her great-granddaughter Jewel Glassey.

Georgia enjoyed her weekly trips to the beauty salon, going out to dinner, watching her game shows, Hallmark movies, Westerns and listening to Gospel Music. Georgia also loved her cat Toby.

She is survived by her two children, Barbara George and husband Ivan, Stonewood, Sherwood Eugene Oldaker, Salem; two extended children, Bob and Jessica Harbert, Edmonds Washington and Brenda and Gene Morse, Vian Oklahoma; grandchildren, JoEllen (James) Glassey, Ivan III (Melissa) George, Patrick (Cathy) Oldaker, Michael (Tina) Oldaker, Ray Oldaker, Alicia (Brian) Robey, Holly (Chris) Jazman, Bill Harbert, Kim Morse, and Chris Morse, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Georgia was preceded in death by first husband, Robert Ray Oldaker and second husband, Victor Edward  Sandy; two children, Arthur Ray Oldaker and Robert “Butch” Charles Oldaker; siblings, Mary Swiger, James Shelhammer, Charles Shelhammer, Thomas Shelhammer, and Dorothy Vincent.
