Georgia L. Bartok, 83, of O’Fallon, Ill., born August 15, 1923 in Eldorado, Ill., died Friday, January 26, 2007 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill. Mrs. Bartok attended St. Clare Catholic Church. She retired as a bookkeeper from Mercantile Trust in 1986, after 30 + years.
She was preceded in death by her parents John Thomas & Lillie Mae, nee Dunn, Baugher, husband August Peter Bartok, 6 sisters and a brother. Georgia is survived by a son August T & Mary Bartok of O’Fallon, Ill., a daughter Gloria J. Bartok of St. Louis, Mo., 4 grandchildren, Jacqueline K. & Jeff Burgard of Kings Beach, Cali., Jennifer D. Kramer of Philadelphia, PA., August S. & Michelle Bartok of Belleville, Ill., Paula J. Bartok of O’Fallon, Ill., and 2 great grandchildren, Raven K. Middendorf of O’Fallon, Ill. and Michael T. Bartok of Belleville, Ill.
