Georgette L. (Pellerin) Senechal, 85, of Windham Center, CT, passed away Sunday September 22, 2019 after a long battle with heart disease and dementia. She was born in St. Damase, Quebec, Canada on June 4, 1934, to Horace and Fedora (Dube) Pellerin. She enjoyed working as a cook for the students of the University of Connecticut for many years until her retirement.
Georgette was predeceased by her husband of nearly 60 years, and by her grandson Casey Robert Senechal, sister Giselle Jean, and her brother Jean-Paul Pellerin. She is survived by her son Richard Senechal and his wife Michèle (Tourigny)Senechal; two granddaughters and their spouses, Brooke Senechal and Brianna (Clifford) Senechal, Ashley (Senechal) Slater and Chip Slater; two great granddaughters Casey Anne Slater and Kiley Morgan Slater; brother Henri and his wife Paulette Pellerin and sister Jean D’Arc Jean, and her sister in law Jocelyn Pellerin; many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews here in Connecticut and in Canada.
