Georgene Peterson born January 31, 1930 in Albion. She passed away peacefully on November 6, 2021 at the age of 91 in Rupert, Idaho. She was the fourth child out of ten to Preston and Nellie Asher.
She married Devalson Brackenbury, and they later divorced. Out of this marriage they had three children. She then married Andrew (Andy) Peterson.
Georgene enjoyed bowling, crocheting, quilting with her family, putting puzzles together, and playing various card games. She also enjoyed traveling with her family. She is survived by her children: Ricky Brackenbury of Boise, Idaho, Vicky Brackenbury, Cindy(Henry) Walters, both of Rupert, and her sister Shanna Batterton of Albion, Idaho. She is preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Nellie Asher, her husband Andrew Peterson, and her siblings: BettyWickel, Carma Adams, Don Asher, Dale Asher, Marla Anderson, Tommy Asher, Jimmy Asher, and Terry Asher.
The family would like to thank Etosha, Harrison Hope Hospice, and Countryside Care and Rehab for the wonderful care they have provided. We will all miss your spunkiness. We love to the moon and back.
