George Zoukis passed away, at age 89, on August 5, 2011. George was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and terrific friend. He was a strong man of faith and his kindness and strength always brought out the best in everyone around him. He is survived by his loving wife Anastasia of 63 years, son John, daughters Sandy (husband Andy) and Effie (husband Panagioty), 4 grandchildren (Chris, Maria, James and Greg), 9 great grandchildren (Tom, Pete, Irene, Eleftheria, Evagelea, James, Christian, Braden and Kiley). George was the oldest of 4 children born and raised in Langa, Greece until 1967 when he moved his family to the United States (Sioux City, IA). George and Anastasia migrated west to Scottsdale, AZ in 1992. George will be greatly missed by all of those who have been blessed by knowing him.
