George Banschbach went to be with the Lord on July 5. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Bernice Banschbach. He was born in Miami, Florida and graduated from high school there. He attended Georgia Tech and graduated from Southern Tech. He worked many years in the telecommunications industry. He became a follower of Jesus Christ in 1970 and served the Lord going on mission trips to Central America and the Caribbean. He also taught Cuban Bible Studies in Miami. He was involved in prison ministry many years and nursing home ministry for several years.
He is survived by his wife, Beth, of 51 years who served alongside him all those years. His other survivors are his son, Edward Hernandez (Edenia), of Davie, Florida; three daughters, Melissa Hilburn (John), of Gainesville, Georgia, Mary McCoy, of Conyers, Georgia, Anne Marie English (Ryan), of Verona, Wisconsin; his sister, Martha Caro (Joe), of St. Johns, Florida; eleven grandchildren, Rebekah, Daniel, David and Samuel Hernandez, Rex and Luke Hilburn, Rachael, Hannah, Abigael and Joshua David English and Abbie Boggs, also survive him.
