George Wilmert Robinson, 83, of Westminster, died Thursday, August 20, 2015, at Carroll Hospital. Born January 1, 1932 in Camden, ME, he was the son of the late Eldora E. Cushman Robinson and Horrace Robinson. Survived by his wife of 53 years, Lorraine Margaret Robinson.
Before retiring, he worked as an engineer tech for the U.S. Government and Naval Surface Weapons Center. He served in the Air Force for 10 years. He was a member of the American Legion Carroll Post. No. 31, Taneytown Gun Club, NRA, NARFE and the Carroll County Shooting Range. He enjoyed working with wood.
Besides his wife, he is survived by son and daughter-in-law David G. and Teresa Robinson of King George, VA, grandchildren Lindsay Frederick, Brittany Robinson, Elijah Robinson and Joshua Robinson, great-grandchildren Isaiah Robinson and Lucas Frederick.
He was predeceased by a daughter Andrea L. Frederick.
