George William Hamm, Jr. 92, of Indianapolis passed away on December 28, 2017. He was born in Owen County, Indiana on August 11, 1925 to the late George William Ham, Sr. and Nellie Mae (Lawson) Ham. He was married to Esther C. Hamm for nearly 50 years, and she precedes him in passing. George was employed in sales working for Tom O’Brien Chrysler, Tom Wood Buick, Kelly Chevrolet, Bob Jarvis Chevrolet and Woods Buick.
George is survived by his children Karen (Bill) Daniel, Sharon Zishka, Kenneth Hamm, Gregory (Marg) Hamm; grandchildren Carrie Hamm-Ray, Amy Daniel, Jeff Daniel, Tony Zishka, Timothy Zishka, Nick Hamm, Kendall Johns; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and daughter-in-law Sherry Hamm. He is also preceded in passing by his son Gordon Hamm and son-in-law Duane Zishka.
