George “Walton” Farnsworth, 73, of Adair, Iowa, died Saturday, December 9, 2006, near Creston, Iowa, as the result of an auto accident.
George Walton Farnsworth was born on April 19, 1933, on the family farm in Guthrie County, Iowa, the son of George Lewis and Helen Elsie (Mooney) Farnsworth.
He attended country school until the 8th grade and graduated from the Adair High School in 1951.
Walton served in the United States Army between WWII and Korea, patrolling and protecting the borders.
