George Walter Murrill, Jr., age 81, resident of Semmes, AL, departed this life on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 in a local hospital.
Mr. Murrill was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a member of Georgetown Assembly of God Church, and also a 33° Scottish Rite Mason and a member of Athelstan Lodge No. 369 as well as other Masonic organizations.
George is preceded in death by his parents; George (Mildred) Murrill, Sr., and one brother Michael Murrill. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years Ann Murrill, one daughter; Marla (Tony) Phillips, two sons; Warren George (Jeanne) Murrill, and Russell (Cari) Murrill, one sister; Jean Garriz, three brothers; Gordon (Ivy) Murrill, Melvin (Margaret) Murrill, and Colis (Ivan) Murrill, seven grandchildren; Blake, Courtney, Matthew, Andon, Jacob, Caden, and Chloe, one great granddaughter; Mallory, and many other nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
