George W. Yochum, 97, of Bethlehem, died Monday, December 19, 2011, in Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg.
Born: in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late George Yochum and Anna Hegerman Heimbach.
Personal: He was the husband of the late Mary Ann Kardos Yochum who died on January 30, 2006.
George worked as a printer for the Bethlehem Steel Co. for many years until retiring.
An avid golfer, George enjoyed playing at Bethlehem Municipal Golf Course.
Memberships: He was a member of West Side Moravian Church and its choir.
Survivors: sons, George H. Yochum and his wife, Natalie of Scotch Plains, NJ, and Daniel L. Yochum and his wife, Linda of Lindenhurst, NY; daughter, Diane M. Falk and her husband, John of Red Lion; brother, Richard; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers, Robert and Frederick.
