He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert Smith. Surviving is his son, Jeff Smith of Lincoln , NE. Mr. Smith was a US Army veteran who served with the Airborne Artillery stationed in Japan after World War II. He graduated from Pensacola High School and received a BBA from the Universtity of Florida.
