George W. Millington, Sr., 94, of Salisbury Twp., died Friday, January 18, 2008, in his home. He was the husband of Mary A. (Witek) Millington. Born in Friedensville, he was the son of the late Claude and Eualla (Austin) Millington. George worked as a machinist at the Bethlehem Steel Corp., for 40 years until retiring in 1977. He was a member of Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Eastern Salisbury. He was an avid bowler who loved to bowl in leagues around the Lehigh Valley. Survivors: he will be lovingly remember by his wife of 67 years, Mary at home; son George W. Millington, Jr. and his wife Marie of Leland, NC; sister Ethel Parson of Cherryville; grandchildren Mark Millington and his wife Teresa of Wilmington, NC, Kathy Carrick and her husband Kevin of Raleigh, NC and 5 great-grandchildren.
