George Turner Macintyre, age 96 of Norwalk, husband of the late Rosina (Constable) Macintyre, died on Monday, September 13, 2010 at Waveny Care Center, New Canaan. Born in Port Chester , NY , the son of the late James and Minnie Macintyre, he was a manager for Connecticut Light and Power. George was a very active volunteer at the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk for many years. He is survived by his three loving children; George Macintrye , Gary Macintrye and his wife Marge, and Marcia Sloat and her husband Gordon, as well as three grandchildren, Gregory Macintyre, Stephen and Scott Sloat.
