George Thomas “Tom” Peach, 82, of Kingwood, died on Monday, January 9, 2017, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

Tom was born January 1, 1935, in Kingwood, WV, a son of the late Joseph George and Vira Rachel (Turner) Peach.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired from the Preston County Senior Center in Kingwood, where he was a driver for Meals On Wheels. Tom was a member of the Kingwood Southern Baptist Church and the WV Walleye Club; he loved to tease and joke around and most of all loved being with his family and friends.

He is survived by two sons and spouse, Randy Teets of Kingwood, Timothy and Jessica Holt of Reedsville; one daughter and spouse, MaryAnn (Peach) and Brad Bankhead of Bruceton Mills; one brother, Clyde Peach of Terra Alta; seven sisters, Elizabeth Sisler of Whetsell Settlement, Lilly McCoy of North Carolina, Linda Noss of Baltimore, MD, Josephine Plum, Sandra Everly, Sherry Thedford, and Debra Thomas, all of Kingwood; four grandchildren, Jody Hoffman, Amber Feather, Taylor Holt, Katherine Holt; special niece and companion, Tammy Plum Metcalf and Johnny Grable.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Knotts Adams Peach, 2015.

Family will be received at Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel, 295 South Price Street, on Thursday, January 12, 2017, from 5-8pm; on Friday, January 13, 2017, from 10:00 a.m.
