Another star has dimmed its light,

On June 9th, 1935, George Marsh was born to the late James Allen and Emma Burnette in Alamance County.
He departed his life on March 27th, 2018 at his home. He attended Gees Grove AME Zion Church throughout his lifetime. He attended Chatham High School in Siler City, NC and from there went to work at Wrenn Brothers Lumber Company where he worked for 35 years.
While attending Chatham High School he met the love of his life, Martha Jane. They united in marriage in June 1957 and of this union two daughters were born, one of which preceded him in death, Linda Sue Marsh.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Martha Jane Marsh of Siler City, NC; a daughter, Brenda Garner (Henry Garner) of Siler City, NC; two grandchildren, Anthony Garner of Siler City, NC and Mylia Garner of Burlington, NC; a godson, Noah Munn of Sanford, NC; two nieces, Tiffany Thompson and Tabitha Thompson of Burlington, NC and a host of relatives and friends.
