George E. “Jerry” Saunier Jr., age 86, of Birmingham, AL passed away on January 30, 2016. Jerry was an avid golfer and served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Louise Saunier, son Devane Saunier, and brother Jimmy Saunier. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Sue Saunier; daughter, Anna Smith; son, Jerry Saunier (Sharon); grandchildren, Jamie Farley (Adam), Julie Stone (Josh), Joseph Saunier (Heather), Megan Saunier, Eddie Saunier, Pam Saunier, Amy Deloach (Jeff), Jennifer Hamilton, Brian Entrekin (Wendy), sisters Jolene Saunier Payne (Earl), Jeanne Saunier Bakkum, numerous great grandchildren; and a host of other family members.
