GEORGE FRANKLIN RUNYAN, 91, resident of Deming passed away Friday June 21, 2013 at Mimbres Memorial Nursing Home.
George was born March 15, 1922 in Sawyer, Oklahoma to Henry and Mattie (Welton) Runyan. He served his country in the United States Army and afterward he was a diesel and automotive mechanic. His jobs took him to several locations here in the Southwest before retiring and permanently locating to Deming..
He is survived by his wife, Nora Runyan of Deming; 1 grandson Thomas Runyan; a great grandson, Colton Runyan both of Glendale, AZ; and by a brother, Jesse Runyan of Central. George was preceded in death by 2 sons, Thomas Alvin Runyan and Ken Andrew Runyan.
