He was the widower of Marie Smallwood Duffell, a retired crane operator with Mindis Recycling, of the Baptist faith and is preceded in death by a son, George Russell Duffell, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Survivors include a son, Grady Duffell, Tyrone, GA; daughters, Marthalene Twilley, Jefferson, Lera Shaw, Tyrone, GA, Georgia Pruitt, Tyrone, GA, Alice Taylor, Monticello; brother, Horace Duffell, Pooler; sister, Maggie Patterson, Jefferson; 16 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
