George Roy Carter, age 88, of Tipton, Indiana died Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at his home. He was born December 20, 1921 at Caney, Oklahoma to William Martin and Julia Mary (White) Carter.
He attended the University of Louisville at Louisville, Kentucky for two years before joining the armed forces where he served his country 23 years in the Army and the Air Force. He later became a life insurance agent for Commonwealth Life Insurance and worked for them 23 years also.
