George Rohrbacher, 80, of Anderson, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on August 4, 2021. He was born on October 9, 1940, in Jeannette, Pennsylvania, and resided most of his life in Anderson. George graduated from Jeannette High School in 1959 and joined the Air Force shortly after graduation where he was a Military Policeman. After being honorably discharged, he worked in plant protection at General Motors for over 30 years. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and NASCAR, and loved his dogs.
George is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Rohrbacher; children, Louanne Precup, Michael (Collette) Rohrbacher; step-children, Michael (Jeanne) Brown, Melanie (Bob) Woodard, and Marc (Kathy) Brown; grandchildren, Brooke, Kayla, Lyndsi, Shelby, Mackenzie, Tyler, Sam, Heather, Jacqueline, Brogan, and Rylee; nine great-grandchildren; and siblings, Marie Herman and Audrey Riggs.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Rohrbacher; son, Mark Rohrbacher; grandson, Christopher Rohrbacher; brothers, Harry, Don, and Bob; his parents, George and Hazel Rohrbacher; and his beloved dog, Misti Lou.
