George was born in Jersey City, New Jersey and attended Central Regional High School in Tom’s River, New Jersey. He moved to Florida with his family in 1985. He worked as an over-the-road truck driver, heavy equipment operator and in demolition. He enjoyed watching and supporting his favorite football team, the Las Vegas Raiders. George loved all animals. He owned and rescued many in the last 28 years. He also enjoyed making people laugh and helping them in any way he could. The neighbors recognized him while cruising the neighborhood in his customized Raider golf cart, which was his pride and joy.
Predeceased by his father, George. George is survived by: fiancee, Joyce McSwiney; son, Robert Vlacich; mother, Susan Vlacich; sisters, Susan Soldivieri (Carl), Barbara Corcoran (Chick), and Tracy Cogliati (Alan) as well as 10 nieces and nephews and other extended family members.
