He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Ruth Lavonia Henderson. George is survived by his children George Robert Henderson, Jr. of Alpharetta, Debbie Barron of Warner Robbins and Cindy Henderson of Newnan. He is also survived by his grandchildren Lori Harris, Morgan Balkcom, Matt Balkcom, Henderson Barron and Marissa Barron. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren Zeke Scott, Grayson Harris, Aubrey Balkcom and Zoe Balkcom.
