George Robert Boswell, of Watkinsville, GA, formerly of Greensboro, GA, died on Saturday, November 23, 2013, at the age of 41. Born in Augusta, GA on November 21, 1972, he was the son of Kay Gentry Boswell of Greensboro, GA and the late Robert Lamar “Cotton” Boswell, Jr. In 1991 he graduated from Nathanael Greene Academy in Siloam, GA, where he lettered in football and track and later received a bachelor”s degree from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. After graduating from college, George was employed by his father, Cotton Boswell, as manager of Cotton”s Corner, a convenience store and restaurant. George married Sherrie Dodd on August 22, 2004. Later George and his brother, Farrett, owned and operated Boswell Logging.
