Mr. George Richard Parker was born on August 16, 1941, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to his proud parents, Mr. Edward Parker and his beautiful mother, Mrs. Evelyn Keys Parker.

To this union thirteen children were born, nine boys and four girls.  All of his  siblings preceded  their parents in death, with the exception of one, Larry Parker.

George attended Indianapolis Public Schools #43 and #41,  and Shortridge High School. Later in life, he moved to Los Angeles, California, where he resided for years with his  family and friends, and many, many relatives who loved him so much. Also, he was loved by plenty of relatives here. George returned to Indianapolis in 1989, where he saw Diann, the love of his life. They had a chemistry that lasted for thirty one years. They also were married.

George departed this earthly life May 20, 2019.  He leaves to cherish beautiful memory four children: sons, George, Jr., Gregory, and Danny, and one daughter, Allison Parker; several grandchildren and his beloved      great-grandchildren

George was employed by the Los Angeles Times in California, then he moved back to Indianapolis, where he worked for the Indianapolis Housing Authority and Link Belt. He was also a very good painter.
