George Huey Pritchett passed away at the age of 86 years old at home in Anderson, CA. He was born to Susie Elizabeth (Bearden) and Ewell Rhodes (Bub) Pritchett in 1930 in Dallas Texas. After his family moved to California, they lived in the Shafter and Taft areas. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict then came home and married his wife Mattie. They had three children, George, Kelly and Gary, and then many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He came from a large immediate and extended family. Family names include the Pritchetts, Beardens, Chambers, Dixons, Watsons and more. He started working at an early age in agriculture. Eventually, he worked for Belridge Oil Company where he worked and lived on the oil lease. He retired to Terra Bella Ca and again worked in agriculture as an orange grower.
