Details: George P. Zaruba, 61, a 6 year resident of the Eastern Shore and formerly of Anne Arundel County died on June 6, 2009 at the Talbot Hospice House. He was born on October 22, 1947 in Baltimore, Maryland to Frank and Regina Zaruba. Mr. was a member of the US Army from the late 60’s until 1971. He graduated from the Community College of Baltimore in 1975. Mr. Zaruba was a Service Technician for the Xerox Corporation from 1969 until his retirement in 2006. His hobbies included fishing and target shooting. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Margaret C. Zaruba, his son Frank Zaruba of Pasadena, his daughter Cindy Swigert of Carroll County, his brother John “Doc” Zaruba of Baltimore, his sisters Ruth Hack of England and Linda Yirka of Pasadena, his aunt who raised him Martha Urbus of Pasadena, and four grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Regina Zaruba, and his brothers Raymond and Thomas Zaruba.
