George Nick Sears, Jr., 83, entered his heavenly home on October 16, 2022. Nick was born in Anniston, Alabama on November 15, 1938. He is survived by his wife, Dolores, and son, George, one sister, Mary, of Piedmont, Alabama, and several nieces and nephews.
After graduating from Anniston (Alabama) High School, Nick continued his education with an undergraduate degree from Jacksonville State University (Alabama) and a master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma.
Nick loved sports whether it was playing golf or basketball or going to the University of Oklahoma football games. Being from the South, he had a passion for Southern Gospel music, especially quartets.
