Anderman, George N., on September 25th, George, 83, pitched his final game in a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Cheltenham, PA on June 16, 1928, George enjoyed a full life being recognized as an outstanding athlete at Cheltenham High, attending Lafayette College, serving in the U.S. Army, pitching for the Cleveland Indians, working in sales, being a nationally-ranked tennis player, and bowling with his wife and good friends.
George is survived by the love of his life, Jean; three stepchildren, Jean Hamilton, Tom Watts, and Liz Rich Zeldenrust; and a granddaughter, Alexandra Hamilton. He will always be remembered for his keen mind, easy nature, and wry sense of humor. “Goodbye kid.”
