George B. Mozley age 83 of Malone formerly of Panama City passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 in the Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was born in Jackson County on July 15, 1928 to the late Edwin Leslie and Della Anderson Mosley. At the age of 10 he boarded an open top train headed to St. Augustine, FL to enroll in the school for the deaf and blind. He studied diligently and upon graduation was given a position with the vending program. His stand was housed in the lobby of the old down town Panama City Post office where he made many lifelong friends with business owners in the down town district. George spoke fondly of starting his days with breakfast at the restaurant in the old Greyhound bus station that his friends owned. George had a great love of music.
