George Michael Harrison, 73, of Grafton passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Home Away From Home Assisted Living Center. He was born in Grafton October 14, 1943, son of the late Winifred Dunham and JoAnna Gerkin Harrison. He was preceded in death by his wife Dina Kay Harter Harrison on June 25, 2009.
Mike graduated from Grafton High School and attended Fairmont State. He was a United States Army Veteran. Mike worked at Georgia Pacific for over fifteen years as a printer/operator. He loved fishing, collecting fishing memorabilia and other antiques. He was a member of Maple Run Church and longtime member of New Testament Fellowship Church.
He is survived by one son, Michael Dunham Harrison and wife Patricia, Morgantown, one grandson; Ryan Michael Harrison, Inwood, WV; one brother, Rev. Roger A. Harrison and wife Ann, of Petersburg, WV; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and his very special friends, Wayne and Terree Lowe, Grafton; Stephanie from the Taylor Co Senior Center with a special thank you to Home Away from Home Assisted Living Center and Amedysis Hospice for all the care given.
