George was born December 25, 1968 in Sterling Colorado to George I. Sr. and Pauline (Korbe) Marks. The family moved to McCook, Nebraska and when George was 12 years old, George Sr. passed away in an accident. Pauline and the kids moved back to Sterling.
George graduated from Sterling High School in 1987. He joined the United States Army and served in Desert Storm. After an honorable discharge from the Army George worked in construction.
He loved to run the big scrapers and dozers. He loved reading and enjoyed the short time he got to spend with his girls and He loved his pets.
He was preceded in death by his parents. grandparents, Harry I. Marks Sr. and Cora Marks, Matthew and Anna Korbe.
He is survived by his daughters Hannah Marks and Shannan Marks; brothers Harry Marks and Bill Adams; sisters Liza Adams, Monte Jo Adam’s, Christy Whitmore and Penney Cernick and many relatives and friends.
