George M. Kenney, 64, of 19 Leetes Island Road, Branford passed away suddenly Feb. 1, 2010 in St. Raphael’s Hospital after being stricken at home. He was the husband of Kim C. Kenney. Born in Holyoke, MA. On Nov. 30, 1945, he was the son of the late Thomas and Alida Kenney. He operated Ken’s Dry Cleaners in West Haven until his retirement. Prior to that, he worked at Barrie, Ltd. on York St., New Haven. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Ted Kenney of Branford and four grandchildren, Bianca, Ted Jr., Anthony & Jake. He was predeceased by a daughter, Caterina Riddick.
