George M. Brown, age 76, journeyed home to the Lord Friday August 26, 2011 at his residence in Columbus. Mr. Brown was born in Camden to the late Samuel and Eva (nee Reed) Brown. George was an Air Force veteran. He had worked as a Data Conversion Specialist for BISYS in Cherry Hill for 44 years until his retirement in 1998.
He was an active member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Willingboro, and a member of the South Jersey Hiking Club. In his spare time he enjoyed reading. He was predeceased by his son George Michael Brown who passed away in 2008 and his sisters Mildred Murray and Margaret Hahn. He is survived by his loving wife Frances (nee MacPherson), his daughter in law Denise Brown, his grandchildren; Joshua Wallis, Jessica Wallis, Zachary Brown and Nolan Peters and his brother Samuel Brown.
