George Lubertazza, 87 of Jackson, passed from this life peacefully on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. George was born October 18, 1934 in Newark, New Jersey to the late George and Ann Lubertazza.
He was a caring father, who was dearly loved by family and friends, and renowned for his quirky sense of humor. He lived a simple life and enjoyed picking his guitar, listening to bluegrass music, and riding his Harley Davidson. He was also a consummate gearhead, with an innate understanding of mechanical machinery. George always had a nickname for almost everyone that was near and dear to him and relished the opportunity to poke fun at his loved ones with an improvised chantey. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all that knew him.
George is predeceased by his parents, George Lubertazza; Ann Roccia Lubertazza and sister, Ann Guancione.
George is survived by his daughter, Jacqueline Lykes of Jackson, NJ; sister, Dorothy Callanan and her husband James of Manahawkin, NJ; grandchildren, Kelly Soviero and her husband Tony of Southampton, PA, Dana DeMarco and her husband Chris of Browns Mills, NJ; as well as three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
